We will continue to update our studio families via email and we also encourage you to check here regularly to keep informed.

Student Entry and Exit

  • Students should wait outside the studio (in cars and/or maintaining appropriate physical distancing) for their instructor to let them in to the studio for class
  • One at a time, students will meet their instructor and answer the pre-class questions
  • For students who need assistance putting on clogging shoes, a parent/family member should assist them to put on clogging shoes outside before their student enters the studio for class
  • Upon entry to the studio, students will use the hand sanitizer, then make their way along the designated path to one of the chairs set out along the edge of the dance floor
  • If desired, students may wish to wash their hands with soap and water after they have put on their clogging shoes
  • At the end of class, students will return to their chair to change shoes; then, one at a time, students will make their way to the door, use the hand sanitizer provided, and meet their ride outside the studio
  • Class sizes are currently capped at 5 – 6 students

Student Movement / Conduct in Studio

  • The dance floor will be marked with tape, designating spaces for student dancing at the appropriate distance
  • Students will remain within their designated spaces during class, except when released by their instructor (to go to their chair for a water break or to go to the restroom)
  • Students should bring their own water in a spill proof bottle to class each week. The water fountain is currently shut off and unavailable for use.
  • When released by their instructor for water breaks, students will go to their chair to take their breaks
  • One restroom, the ADA restroom, will be available for use during class
  • Students are required to thoroughly wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after using the restroom
  • Dancers should not touch each other, for partner work or other reasons, during their time at the studio
  • Waiting areas (red and blue bench areas) are not currently available for use

Masks / Face Coverings

  • All students, ages 5 and up, are required to wear masks, face coverings, or face shields at the studio.
  • If your student has a medical condition or disability that impacts their ability to wear a mask / face covering, please contact us so we can work with you to follow up appropriately.
    • Unfortunately, per state guidance, a reasonable modification does not include simply allowing access to activities or instruction without a mask, face covering or face shield.
